What's odds would the bookies have given for both Chelski & Citeh slipping up. Very surprised @ Citeh not picking up the 3pts in the late game. After results like today, I have to say, Liverpool could very well be the surprise package this season. I think they'll win tomorrow @ home. Quite exciting stuff.

Own goals are, by definition, bad, but this own goal in a Bundesliga matchup between Mainz and Augsburg is really, really bad. Augsburg goalkeeper Marwin Hitz made a glancing save on the initial shot from Mainz, but the ball hit off the post and trickled back in front of the net. So, trying to clear the ball out of harm's way, his teammate kicked it square into his face and into the goal. I haven't stopped watching yet.

I believe that is only Liverpool's 5th clean sheet of the year. They may slip up but they do control their own destiny. The offense they have is scintillating.

Liverpool really shouldn't be mocking them though. Granted, its arguably one of the nastiest rivalries in English football, (much much worse than UTD/CITEH)...., but Liverpool, in the EPL grand scheme of things, have been fecking pish for years. But they've jumped all over this due to being in their shadow for a long time.

So, it'd be like the Lions in first place in the division mocking the Packers for losing Aaron Rodgers and thus making the NFC North "in the bag", right?
