I went to the Oncologist today and he said that it came down to four possibilities that a biopsy (Friday) will be able to pin point.
It could be an infection and he has seen them that big before in a person chest.
It could Lymphoma with is a very curable cancer.
The other two are not so great.
It could be colon cancer that has spread to my lungs. The doc last week said my colon looked ok, but that was on a scan and this doctor told me those are not reliable for colon cancer. My blood marker for Colon cancer wass high though.
The one other thing is it could be straight out Lung Cancer and by what he saw in the scans if that is the case then it would be stage 4. Neither of the last two would be curable, but they could control it for a time. 7 months to 2 year approx with what he saw.
Keeping hope that it is one of the lesser two, but until the biopsy results come back next week all we can do is wait and hope.
Thanks for the support. It is very much appreciated.
I'm with these guys. Hoping and praying for the best, DL.
Add me that list. Hang in there man.

Ugh DL - the not knowing just sucks and adds a whole nother stress level to an already stressful situation. You are in our thoughts sir.
We are at the hospital again for likely a few days - he had chills shortly after lunch which is sign he's fighting something and he was admitted after he got to outpatient clinic. We were told this would happen when ANC low, not abnormal but he was a bit upset not being able to go home.
That said, he's getting antibiotics, had full dinner and acting normal.
I'm sure knowing these things will happen make a lot of difference in being able to deal with them. You guys are able to stay at the hospital with him, right? Hopefully he's able to go home soon.
