You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

Does anyone on here keep in touch with Angeleyes via the social media thing? Just saw something while driving which made me think of Sharkbait. Now wondering how she and the family are doing.

She is OK. She has been a bit under the weather but other than that, she has a very good attitude and has found a friend to brighten her days.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
Thanks MM. That's fantastic that she has someone there to lift her spirits up. She really does have a bright future ahead after all the hard work she's done.

Holy shit! Didn't even notice that. Strange one. Had a conversation years ago with Sharkbait about Monty Python and today while sitting in a Q of traffic in the Grassmarket, some street performers were singing "Always look on the bright side of life"....... made me think of Sharkbait. And it's his birthday??? Been feeling a bit depressed about the terrorism in London recently, (my son lives there) ..... and that was Sharky telling me to stop worrying. Cheers, buddy.

I don't know where to begin, but I 'll be brief. Received a phone call from a fellow forumite inquiring about my health. This must have started last November when I made a comment that I might not make it to my next birthday.
I apologize, as I have no right to bare my personal concerns to you. For the record I have MS as well as COPD. (don't smoke my friends.)
When hospitalized in October with the COPD I was given about six months. I then returned to hospital in late March. Obviously I have passed the "Best Before Date."
My latest stay in hospital also introduced me to a new specialist, who has worked wonders. I sleep with a breathing apparatus and have a portable oxygen machine as well for emergency use.
I'm actually embarrassed that I made the comment about my health some months back.
The only reason I write this is because I don`t want to be another Russ Bollinger, a wonderful man who simply disappeared leaving many of us thinking the worst.
I promise to never raise health issues again. If you never see posts from me during the regular season, than you can surmise that the disease caught up to me.
In the meantime, I am shooting to make the forum game again, even though it's the day before my wedding anniversary. I really want to see as many of you as possible, because in my 19 years on the forum, (with the very rare exception) I have come to personally really like all of you. Admire the wit of many, the sports knowledge most of you carry, and of course this wonderful gathering place....... the internet universe for Great times and wonderful memories.
That be it my friends. Carry on!
