Angeleyes, thanks for the update. You are one strong lady. As bad as it might sound in some ways, in others, it sounds like he is navigating the tough waters. It also sounds like he has a bone marrow donor which is good. I have seen people respond well to this treatment. You and Sharkbait as in my prayers.

SB always says that I am his rock,to help him get through things and continue to fight; but there are times where this rock crumbles. I have been so busy with everything and my plate is over-heaping, that when I finally had a free minute, it then really hit me with what we are really dealing with here. I try to stay strong, but it does not work all the time.My window of opportunity is expanding.....

Switched some medication early this evening as the side effect is way out of control. Gonna be a long roller coaster of ups and downs this next week until the old medication gets out of his system. Can't wait to tell the doctors in the morning "I told you so"; but at least he still knows who I am.My window of opportunity is expanding.....

I should have added that he does not know who his Dr. is and some of these nurses. I am thinking it is part of his side effects as the Dr. did state the meds. can mess with the brain and talking; some may be temporary and some may be permanent. (But once you meet me, how can you forget me.) ;)
One time she thought she was in China. I told her no, she was at the hospital where she always went. Then she asked me how she got in the Chinaland Wing. I told her, no you're in the Cardiac Wing.
Another time she time she thought there was a Bar on the floor above and that all the Doctors and nurses were hanging out up there.
Another time I came in her room and she was sitting one of those big chairs completely naked. She had lotion all over hands and looked to be putting it on her lower back. I asked what she was doing, but she didn't respond. I spoke a little louder (she was hard of hearing) and asked again, she shouts out my vag---- itches. I think the entire floor heard. The nurse ran in and cleaned her up.
I miss visiting with her.

Sounds like you may be oblivious to well wishes Sharkyboy, but keep at it, and get well soon."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
