What Batch should have ben was thr bridge QB while the Lions were completely rebuilt with a young core. Instead resources were given up to get a less talented system QB and aging free agentswere brought in to fill out a shitty roster.

    • The original argument was if Joey would be a starter again after he left Detroit.

                        Shit!

                        That means next year, too.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

                          Titus for sure, Broyles?

                          • Oh Titus is done for sure. The fact that they sent him home and aren't even considering using him is the jello on the wall.

Last year it was Broyles left knee, this injury is to his right knee. Don't know if that means much, other than the knees are even now.

It's ok Mark. Selecting a WR is playing straight into Mayhew's wheelhouse! He is will find us a fine, if not somewhat damaged, specimen.

                              • Broyles game isn't speed, as much as it is cutting and crisp route running. Hopefully he can come back from this.

There was an article in yesterday's free press about how Shawn Jefferson (WR coach) see's him as the 'black Wes Welker'... Welker has had knee injuries also and he's still effective, so there's hope to be had.
