Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

      Ziggy Ansah Returns To Practice

August 27th, 2019 at 7:40pm CST by Rory Parks

Despite earlier reports suggesting that he could miss at least a month of the regular season, we heard a few weeks ago that new Seahawks defensive end Ziggy Ansah was expected to be ready for Week 1.

And that timeline still seems accurate, as Brady Henderson of ESPN.comPete Carroll said, Frank Clark and will be without Jarran Reed for the first six games of the season.

                • Anyone else notice the line up of other DB needy NFL teams (nearly 90%) seeking the services of Tabor?

                  Me either.

                  • EZEKIEL ANSAH, DL, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 1.

Ansah was left off the original injury report. The downgrade isn't a good sign, but we're not sure how much this changes his status. Ansah has barely practiced since signing with Seattle. He'll likely be on a snap count if he plays.

They knew he wasn't going to be ready to start the season so its not much of a shocker from our POV. I wish him the best. Dude is a beast the 10 plays a year he's apart of

Mitchell LoewenWes Horton, who was released in a corresponding move.

Loewen played in three games for the Saints over the last two seasons and moved on to the Lions as a waiver claim late last season. He returned to the Saints after failing to make the Lions out of camp this summer.

The Saints are without Sheldon Rankins and Mario Edwards due to injuries and David Onyemata is serving a one-game suspension, so the team needed some interior depth for the game against Houston.

Horton signed with the Saints in May. He had 93 tackles and 15.5 sacks over six seasons with the Panthers.
