interesting montage, JD. Do you know who compiled it? I would have to agree with about 20 on the list, but I think the list must have been compiled by a headbanger. No freaking way someone like SLASH should make a list of the best guitar players of all time, but not John McLaughlin, Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, etc. At least they had Django on there (although WAY too low IMO)
and for my girlie comment of the day... MY GOD David Gilmour was a hottie back in the day.

The top 30 list was good, no mention of Edge though. It said influential, his varied use of the effects pedals has been very influential. Probably not technically proficient like most of those listed, but pretty influential.Comment

One of the funny things about the book is they brought in a friend Maeve O-Reagan to figure out what was wrong with their group because some of their live performances were terrible. She said, Larry Mullen is a good drummer, Edge seems to be OK but Adam has no clue what he's doing. She was right, Adam Clayton was in the band solely because he owned a bass. But he can't keep time. Larry Mullen really couldn't keep time and he would never use a click track.Comment
