This song always makes me think of my lovely wife and how blessed I am to have her.

"One of my personal favorites."
------------------Great song chemi.
"does it have to be a song that I liked in its time, or can it be something that I didn't appreciate until adulthood? "
----------------That's fine Kay. Sorry I missed this yesterday.
here's a great one hit wonder that reminds me of my sister.
let me clarify - it reminds me of being a little girl riding around in my sister's car with the windows rolled down & this tune cranked...not that my sister is a whore.
I love some of these bands that have been mentioned, but it would be impossible for me to come up with a favorite song when I love most of their catalog, so I am going to stick to one hit wonders, or bands that I'm not really into. Much easier that way.
Here's one...I have never really been into the Who. I can certainly appreciate their significance, and I don't dislike them, but Roger Daltrey's voice just doesn't do it for me. So when I saw this video my head nearly exploded. THIS is exactly how this song should sound, IMO.

"I ain't the type to bitch, I ain't the type to cry, I will sit at your red light and wait for your shit to go by."
one more - I used to play this quite a bit on my radio show back in college - Coop might be the only one who appreciates it, but I still think it's a great tune.

-----------------Don't take the word "favorite" so literally Kay. Better stated I'm looking for songs people really enjoy from the past.
