            • Never really understood the Oasis v Blur argument, musically. Oasis always were in a different league all together. I think that just came about due to Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn not liking each other very much. Musically, Oasis were out of sight compared to Blur.

              • Noel Gallagher was gloriously obnoxious at the time. I read he's making a new album that is supposedly going to be pretty good. The last one was quite good. Better than last few Oasis albums.

By the power of the internet, this is them last night (someone else recorded it, not me):-

Very enjoyable evening, the band on before (Black Submarine) had good pedigree in the Verve, but not too good, although a deep vibrating Bass shaking my insides probably didn't help. Echo and the Bunnymen were great though. Lead singer was a bit surly, but still ok. I also ticked a mini bucke tlist item by going into a tiny celler bar that I used to go past when I was younger, but it closed down. It's has reopened so went there after the gig, then we went to the upstairs bar and the band (bar Ian Mcculloch) were having a pint, so thanked them for a great gig!!

They are in the US later this year:-
