  • After being told to STFU with the Rafferty....., it's always good to go into an unoccupied room and air drum to some instrumental metallica.

              • I went to the funeral today of the Guy who started the Oxford American football team, without him I probably wouldn't be here on this forum.

We adopted this song as our theme (Copied from the Pittsburgh Pirates!!).

There were plenty of his "Family" at the service today, too young at 53.

Good one. My personal preference for metallica instrumentals go in the following order:
Call Of Ktulu, To Live Is To Die, Orion, Suicide and Redemption.

Imagine is just a Lennon solo song.

                              • Is there anyone on this forum who thinks The Beatles/Lennon/McCartney are just a tad over-rated? I mean yes they are and were very good, wrote plenty songs, some good, most mindnumbingly bad, and they were ahead of their time etc etc......, but were they really as good as people think? I've got a complete asshole for an uncle who claims to have been a Beatles fan all his life and was devastated when Lennon was shot dead......., No he wasn't...., my mother told me he never owned any Beatles Recordings while growing up and was probably in prison for car theft when Lennon was shot, mouthing off to some prison warden, devastated because he wasn't down the pub.
My point is, are there people throughout the years who have just jumped on this Beatles bandwagon because its hip or cool? It's feckin annoying. I wish ALL radio stations would leave it now and move on.
