That'll be your opinion though Tony yeah? Indeed Waters is excllent, both in Floyd and as a solo artist, but Gilmour is a legend in his own right......, there ain't many bands around these days in the same league as Pink Floyd led by Gilmour. That's my opinion of course. That clip was superb by the way, cheers for that.
Agree.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
I saw Floyd sans Waters on the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. Gilmour got pissed at us because we wouldn't all clap in unison during Money. Right, 2 1/2 hours into a 3 hour plus concert with a guaranteed contact high just walking in the building and DG wants everyone up bouncing around like it's dance music.
Floyd w/o Water's songs would be like the Who w/o Townshend's writing. Gilmour should have done Lapse of Reason as a solo album but then it wouldn't have sold near as well,

It'll be a great memory to have tho Tony? Where did you see them? To be honest, I'm not too bothered about MLOR....., it's a good cd, but not a Floyd classic. I saw them at London Earls Court in the 90's on the Division Bell tour. Really is a fantastic memory......, witnessing live the guitar solo at the end of "comfortably numb"....., it's almost orgasmic.

For newer stuff...I absolutely love this song It's Pixies meets Cage the Elephant. Yes, you have to sit through an ad and an intro in the video, but it's way worth it.
