does it have to be a song that I liked in its time, or can it be something that I didn't appreciate until adulthood? I need to find some way to narrow the playing field, or I'll just stress out about it and then shut down.

Dear Mr Fantasy was a Traffic song.

I'm pretty sure that Blind Faith didn't do it even though it is usually considered a Steve Winwood song. He was in both groups, helped write it and sang it on two albums when he was a member of Traffic.

Regardless, I agree. It is a great song.

Pre 90's? Mostly all the standard stuff for me then ... Zep, Floyd, Eagles, etc.

But I've been spinning this one a lot lately. Sounds amazing cranked on a good sound system ...
