RIP Dick Wagner this last year.
Didn't have much of a comercial success as much as the MC5 or The Stooges and Iggy, Ted Nugent, Bob Segar , Alice Cooper...ect- but could have and passed. Right up there in the Detroit rock of the late 60s - Grande Ballroom.

I haven't thought about Deep Purple in quite a while. I saw them at Joe Louis in '86, I think. Probably the 6th concert I ever went to and they put on a great show. Bad Company opened for them but it was with some replacement singer.
