Good song but the dates are way off. Never understood how a guy the age of Bryan Adams was so nostalgic about the summer of '69! I thought how could a guy who was probably 8-10 years old talk about getting a band together and have a friend get married to break up the band and play a guitar till his fingers bled?
Then I looked up his age and I was right. Adams was 10 in 1969. when I was ten, all I cared about was bike riding, fast pitch rubber ball and wiffle ball , and collecting enough pop bottles to buy pop rocks or bubs daddy bubble gum.
"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
Great song. Who wrote it and who sang it first? Googling not accepted. I know many here will know the answer to the first part but maybe not the second.

Kristoffersen wrote Me and Bobby McGee with Fred Foster. Roger Miller recorded it first, but Kristoffersen (along with a shit-load of others) recorded it too.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
Had a Led Zeppelin day on the phone at work. Every one of them were my favourite songs today. Robert Plant? What a chanter!
