Yes, that was the movie - Vision Quest , I think I liked it b/c Linda Fiorentino was the hot chick as the girl needed a place to stay or something. The longest Yard (Burt Reynolds, not Adam Sandler) is about the only other one I can think of that I liked.
No not really... All right, I Google the top 25 sports movies and Caddyshack is in there, I really like that one, funny as hell! (Brians Song was good also) That's about it.
