      I didn't really hear it. Both songs emphasize the percussion in the mix and are heavy with the harmonies. But the song structure is different. That Fun song really doesn't use guitars for its rhythm, it is a piano based song.

      But as a rule of thumb, by now in Rock/Pop, its going to be very hard to make any song that doesn't sound like something else. Its not like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" which is "wild Thing" sped up with a lot of noise added to it. I like this Fun song a lot better than the "We Are Young" song. That song drives me batty.

        I can hear it but I wouldn't say it's a complete ripoff.

        I put it in the same category of Bush (Everything's Zen) ripping off Neil Young (Rockin' in the Free World). "Strong Influence".
