  • I heard the tail end of this song on a music channel my son was watching. I asked him who the band were. I then checked this out on YouTube. Can anyone help here. What the fuck is this song all about?

            • That's three Moody songs you have posted. Great band and they still tour. If you have a chance to see them in concert, GO! They play and sound much younger than their ages.
Great band that really don't seem to get the credit near the top of Classic Rock. Denny Laine here singing and Brian Epstein managing (what a short lived combo) with the band .

              • Did you discover the Moody Blues from the Denny Laine Wings connection or did you like them post Laine era??

I got Long Distance Voyager in 1981 and started buying their classic 7 early albums.

I am really not a fan of the pre Hayward-Lodge era, but Go Now is a good song.
Loved the Mellotron Mike Pinder sound, but I really like their modern tracks also.

What a killer show that must have been. I never got to see PJ during their crazy stage show years. I seen them first in 96 and they had already transformed into the great, but contained live band they are now. In 92-94 they spewed so much energy every show. Very jealous.

BTW, the dynamics on the studio recording are freakin enormous. If you want to hear what you are missing with the overcompressed crap recorded today ... listen to the studio version of this song.

Two more great songs! Definitely post Laine. 'In Search of the Lost Chord' my older sister of 7 years had that LP, most rock bands I was introduced by my older sisters LP collection (when she was out).

                        • Bird lands on singer's guitar at a Bluegrass concert.

I enjoyed this one - hope that you do to.

I have always liked hearing birds singing in the mornings, and now there finally seems to be proof that birds can appreciate other kinds of music.
This is fun to watch. About half way through in this song a little wild bird lands on the lead singer's guitar and watches the singer. The singer is then able to pet the wild bird. Put it on "full screen". It will be better to see the bird. The bird really looks straight at the singer.
