Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

I didn't know if I should post this here of the make my day thread...
We were at St Simons Island on the 4th of July. I stayed at the house and took care of my 94 year old mother-in-law but wife, daughter, and son took Boone to the fireworks at the pier. The first two big booms scared the hell out of him but then he settled down and enjoyed the show.
Caroline wrote a short song that is kinda about it, but it is more than that. (and yes, it made me tear up a bit)
Check it out.
This is a song about my dog Boone and also about moments that remind us that sometimes things are really really okay. *** LYRICS: Sometimes the world stops e...I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Ah man, that was absolutely superb. That could be the unique-est song on the planet right now. Fantastic work, Caroline.
And Boone........ pure balls, buddy. Well done. Our cat, Millie is under a bed when the wedding fireworks are going off at Dalmeny Estate every weekend."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

Anyone have a melody for when the brown dog barfs up a bunch of crab apples and the fourteen year old dog eats the barf pile right in front of picnic guests?
