Looking back in this thread, I cant believe its been almost 3 years I have had Jake (Jacob) and 2 yeas since I lost Buster. They say dogs start becoming like their owners, Jake is just like Buster now, not sure how that happens. I miss my old best friend still though.
Ill never forget when my exwife told me to "get a dog" in an argument, I did. Don't miss her
Yep, I remember about GIlmore. There is still a cat in my house now. And come to think of it, he has been here longer than Trapper was. And he is fine and all. But Boo was like GiImore. He had dog status, plus. Boo came to my whistle, loved belly rubs, licked like a dog.
And Trapper was a super smart pal. Stormy knew them both, and he is with me still.
But I am already going crazy with the house being too quiet. There was a gap of 5 years between losing my Black Lab Tolkien, and adopting Trapper.
I suspect I won't make it long before making an addition this time.
