Thanks for all the welcomes. The 21 was never a reference to my age. I'd be closer to 30 instead of 25 nowadays anyway I can remember posting on the Freep forum when I was 14 or 15.

So I moved a little further north than California. Oregon. I have been teaching middle school and coaching a little football and baseball at the high school level. Strangely enough, one of my 8th grader's favorite team is the Lions. His favorite player: Drew Stanton. I played against Drew in high school. Small world.

I should have posted in this thread in the first place.

I'm a Canadian Lions fan. First started watching Lions games as a kid in Barry's Rookie year. (The U.S. network feeds on our cable here were from Detroit so I got all the lions games)

I won't lie I probably started out more of a Barry fan then a Lions fan (I still have my Score rookie card of Barry from that time) but the team grew on me. I even remember skipping school to watch a Lions thanksgiving day game.

After Barry retired I didn't follow the team as much except to note who they drafted in the first round and maybe watch the odd game when it was on tv. I still cursed when they lost and took the ribs of fans from other teams around here when the franchise was rock bottom. All I could say is "Go Lions forever."

I was able to catch four games on tv this year and Suh seems to have replaced Barry in my heart so I'm thinking of getting Sunday Ticket if there is football next year.

Yeah I agree Suh is a monster. Sometimes I can't believe how good he is.. its just too much to fathom that our very own lions rookie DT is that good.

Personally, I am a Lebatts fan however I do like Brodures (sp?) also.

No need to purchase the Sunday Ticket. Tune in here on game day and someone will always have a good link for you to watch the game. If you need to watch it on a big screen, just hook your TV up to a puter feed.

By the way, we are still debating who is the best running back of all time. Barry, Emmitt, or Walter?
