              Hi my name is Nick. I thought Barry Sanders was the greatest thing ever and was a die hard lions fan since. Its been brutal, but I am extremely optimistic about the future of our Lions. Were almost there. GO LIONS!!

                        Thanks for the welcome guys.

                        Can i ask a favour if anyone has got time, its quite a big pain in the arse favour. Could someone write down a list of American Football abbreviations and their meanings. Dont get me wrong, i understand the game fully, but sometimes, especially after a game, i like to read all your comments and its great. An easy example would be LB which of course is Linebacker....... but just other ones, cant think of any of hand. Be really handy if there was a list somewhere....... right here would be great....... that i could refer to if ive not understood a particular plays assessment.

                        Ok that was difficult...... im off for a lie down.

                              Throw out some examples of what your talking about and I'll see if I can help. Many people use initials for peoples names on this Forum.

                              OLB=outside linebacker
                              ILB=Inside linbacker
                              SLB=strongside LB
                              WIL=weak side LB
