    • Ms. SLF and I watched that one, it was great. It put us to sleep within 10 minutes both times. Ultimate cure for insomnia.

        • I saw I Am Legend and dug it. Although I must say it was scarier than I was expecting. I spoke with someone who read the book and apparently the movie is quite a departure. Still, I enjoyed it. I like Will Smith immensely.

          • I liked the movie and I recently read the book and I liked it a lot but, yes, it is different. I think mainly because that book was written so long ago and the producers of the movie just didn't want to make it a "vampire" movie.

              • I saw the Bank Job a few days ago and wasn't really impressed. It was just a ho-hum average heist movie. Just thought I'd pass that along.

I completely agree I have watched it for the second time with my wife the other day, and liked it way more the second time. The first time I watched it I thought it started kind of slow but quickly realized that's just the type of movie it was going to be. I agree though truly powerful and beautiful movie.

                      • We watched 30 days of night this weekend. It was pretty good. It was really bloody, almost cartoonishly so. But I thought it was much better than I was expecting it to be.

                          • Watched Into the Wild last night. It dragged at times but it was expected because of the type of movie. Penn did a GREAT job with it. I didnt know til afterwards that he made the movie.

I've always hated Emile Hirsch (sp) but he did a wonderful job. He was great.

                            • I saw 3:10 to Yuma today and I didn't like it. I thought the actors did a good job and I thought it was pretty good up until the end. I just didn't buy the ending.

So basically the movie is about an idiot that shot his own foot off (I think, I can't remember if he did it or one of his fellow soldiers) and then to save face with his kid and be a man again he has to get Crowe on the train. Since he can't Crowe has to give him charity and help him? What kind of shit is that? So taking charity does that? Pease..
