  • You kind of have to watch Goodfellas a few times to catch everything. The cool thing about the movie is that it was filmed fairly quickly after the events of the movie. Ray Liotta had constant phone calls with Henry Hill. Jimmy really did eat his pasta with ketchup.

    • There hasn’t been much for good movies recently IMO but I watched Air and Tetris back to back and they were awesome.

No. I will put it on the watchlist.
Notable watchlist movies: Godfather: Part 2, Tenet, Top Gun: Maverick, Apocalypse Now, Oldboy, The Hunt, 1917, and basically all of MCU Phase 4 (excluding Spider-Man).

Now that we’re entering by far the most dry sports stretch of the year, sure I’ll find time.

Yes, yes…. Argh, how can’t I have seen ‘insert the blank’ movie! Feel like I’ve done pretty well seeing most of the classics / must-sees. Gen Z is now the age group catching up to these movies.

        • Watched The Flash with my nephews and niece yesterday. I enjoyed it. It wasn’t as “great” as the early reviews claimed and it wasn’t as “bad” as the more recent reviews stated. I liked the cameos. My guess is they will wipe everything clean for DCEU and start over. I doubt they’ll want to keep doing business with Ezra Miller. I liked his portrayal of Flash but his antics off camera probably aren’t worth the aggravation. Considering they’ve already moved on from Henry Cavill as Superman, it would probably be easier to just start over with all of the characters.

          • I saw Flash yesterday. Good adaptation of the storyline to the DCEU.

I also liked Ezra Miller as Flash. I would love to see Sasha Calle as Supergirl again. Keaton was great as always.

            • Agree on Calle. I didn’t think I would like a brunette Supergirl but I thought she was good. Not sure why the hair color matters that much to me but every iteration I’ve seen of her has been blonde.

And I love Keaton as Batman.

Holy shit, I hadn’t heard the news about Ezra Miller. He’s such a great actor but doesn’t seem all there

I really enjoyed the beating she put on Zod. Being a brunette is a first for Supergirl (though in her Linda Lee disguise in the silver age she wore a brown wig).

Just saw this movie recently. It entertained me. Has a very Marvel feel to it. A lot of quips and jokes sprinkled into the action packed movie. Nothing special, but I won’t complain.

6/10. Above average. 2 hour entertainment that is a one time watch.
