thank you. I was starting to think I was alone in liking that movie. It is strange and interesting, and a big departure from his normal movie.

SLF, maybe it was the departure that brought a negative general reaction. M. Night had a distinct formula in his previous movies and maybe people couldn't divorce themselves from that.

That's my theory Rom. That plus the way his "critic" acts, would tend to rub critics the wrong way.

Hi Deb and Rom.. It was a rough season. Its hard to come in here when we're so bad. It makes it hurt more. How's everyone been?

I saw Blood Diamond last night. Damn good movie. Leo was pretty impressive. Great cast.

I've been meaning to mention what a delight Wordplay is - a documentary about crossword puzzles. Sounds scintillating doesn't it? It was actually very interesting. There's even an annual competition. I had no idea.

Uhhhhhhh.. The weather has been horrid and doesnt look to stop anytime soon. Normally it'll snow and be gone in a day or two. I moved out here because the winters are mild but the last few weeks have been miserable.

No but I did see We Are Marshall and freaking loved it. Also saw The Pursuit of Happyness and liked it a lot.

Did you see the new Rocky? If so, how was it? I heard some people talking about it yesterday at the orthodontist's office. They said Adrianne died of cancer. Hope that isn't a spoiler.

Speaking of the orthodontist, I had to go and get fitted for a retainer so I can keep my teeth in place from where I wore braces 20 years ago. The cool thing is now you can get retainers with colors and pictures! I went with an aquarium theme. It's going to be ocean blue with a fish and some plant life. I can't wait to see it.

Pursuit of happyness was only "liked it alot".. From the previews it has allstar writes all over it. Will Smith has turned into an excellent actor.

For some reason I always get "pursuit of happyness" and "Little miss sunshine" confused. Specifically, I always think of LMS whenever I hear someone talk about POH.

I was just kidding jaadam. Adriane doesn't die. Pursuit of Happyness was very good and had I not seen it the same weekend as We Are Marshall, I'd probably be more excited about it. I just loved We Are Marshall so much. But both movies are my absolute favorite kind. The kind that give me hope. Anyone, with enough courage and determination, can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
