  • Avengers is probably above it as well. But I am Geeked for it.

    • I love Joss Whedon, but another army of robots? Great. I'm sure the witty banter will be entertaining. And I think JP just looks sort of dumb. Apparently Chris Pratt is the dino whisperer.

But I am a sucker for a post-apocalyptic world, especially the Mad Max one.

      • Not saying either don't have their faults. Just that while I am a fan of Max and his lack of Sanity, dinosaurs and large groups of superheros fighting it out appeal to the eight year old inside me.

        • "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" has a 9.3 on IMDB, 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, and higher metacritic score than the last Avengers.

Should be worth going to the theater for! I'm hyped for it.
NFL Draft + Avengers 2 near same days. Can you beat this?

                • Furious 7 is probably a high 7. Avengers a mid 8. It really has a value much higher than that. As a popcorn movie it was a 10 but there was some plot lulls that drag it down a bit. 7 was the same stupid fun 6 was, the plot and acting was stiffer, but the action was turned up to 11. I didn't like the tacked on end, I got why it was included but felt it unneeded. If you liked 6 or like Statham acting like a badass badguy, this is a movie for you.

                  • I only made it an hour into Avengers before the movie theater started having technical difficulties and we had to leave. I have to say thus far I wasn't overly impressed. The storyline, acting and overall feel for the movie seemed forced.

                    I hope it gets better

                    • It does. It really does. But whedon is always a dialog guy so when he really gets going its gets stretched a little. But it really finds its groove about a third of the way through the movie.

                      • That makes me feel better about going back. I was seriously bored in the beginning.

                        • Just saw "The Avengers Age of Ultron."

It was very entertaining. Can't ask for a better film when it comes to that. Only thing that annoys me is how "easy" everything is for the good guys. That's prob how it should be because they are superheroes.
Maybe it's because I watch too much GoT and expect the bad guys to win every now and then.

Well directed IMO for the amount of stars Whedon had to deal with. Visuals 10/10.

                          • Mad Max is getting some crazy praise in initial reviews. Probably seeing that tomorrow. With Jurassic world next month, and Avengers 2 weeks ago this might be, becoming one of the better movie summers in awhile. I might not even care if Terminator bombs.

"Ant-Man" might be the first Marvel film to bomb since before "Iron Man."
Director choice + other factors have me thinking it's going to struggle.
