Went to the movies Friday for the first time since The Aviator was on the big screen, to watch The DaVinci Code .... thought it was on the boring side, if it wasn't for the horribly uncomfortable seat I was it would have been an $8.50 nap.
Watched King Kong on pay-per-view last night ... I was entertained in a bemused way, but dang were parts of that movie stupid/bad.Forever One!

The book was a better but I thought the movie was good. I liked it quite a bit. I hated the Aviator. I thought that movie was long and boring.
Anyone see Poseidon yet?F#*K OHIO!!!

I found the Aviator very interesting, but then, I've always found biographical movies to be pretty interesting. Really enjoyed Robert Downey Jr. as Charlie Chaplin in Chaplin.
I'm going to see Da Vinci Code on Wednesday. I've read it (along with Angels and Demons), so I'm interested to see how it plays on the big screen.Lions free since 6/23/2020

I saw Poseidon last weekend. I don't know why, but I am fascinated by waves, storms and such on the ocean, so I like going to see those types of movies, no matter how cheesy. I wasn't expecting too much, but it was a pretty good summer action flick. It's pretty much no nonsense from the get go, if a little ridiculous at times (but hey, it's a giant upside down cruise ship).

X3 hits theatres this weekend - should be interesting!! I predict that Wolverine is going to gut Magneto with his claws, causing Magneto to rip out all of the admantium from his body putting him into a coma....and that's how it will end.....Got Kneecaps?

Not yet. I was disappointed in Glory Road. This kind of movie is one my favorite genres - based-on-a-true-story-sports-team-beating-the-odds-to-triumph, toss in something like race relations and I'm all gaga (Remember the Titans is one of my all-time favorite movies). Glory Road could've been so much better. Unfortunately, and it pains me to say it because he's just too cute, Josh Lucas was woefully miscast. He's a little too pretty to be taken seriously as a tough coach."And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."

The Break Up was pretty good but it wasnt in the mold of Vince Vaughns other funny movies. He was funny but it wasnt a light movie. It was a bit more serious then I was expecting.
Good watch tho.F#*K OHIO!!!
