Saw the Hobbit today.... Mmmehhhh.. It was alright. I might have to watch it again to see if I really liked it.
I have to be honest it's not grabbing me like the LOTR did.F#*K OHIO!!!

I think Peter Jackson has done a good job considering he had to split the book into three "3-hour" movies.
But yea, not even close to LOTR. Imagine if he had to split The Fellowship of the Ring into 3 movies. That's like having one of the movies about the Mines of Moria for the entire movie lol.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

There's a lot of the LotR books they left out that they could have filled up more movies with...honestly, it probably would have been easier to split Fellowship up into three movies than the Hobbit.
Didn't they also say that most of the third Hobbit movie will bridge the gap between the Hobbit & LotR? I can't watch the Hobbit until February, so I DON'T KNOW. :x2015 AAL - Ezekiel "Double Digit Sacks" Ansah.

Top, are ALL of the movies on disc? Or only some, while the others are via download? I'm considering this as a gift for my Dad who lives in the sticks without high speed internet.
Thanks

Just finally got around to watching World War Z. I have to say 3 things about it.
1. I probably would have seen it in the theaters and might have liked it more if they didn't name it World War Z (since very little was culled from the book) and if they didn't call them Zombies.
2. It suffers from the I can do anything with CGI now problems that most big budget movies suffer from. Directors are having a really hard time now keeping themselves in check because if they can't do it naturally they can just throw a couple of server farms at it.
3. The solution was probably the most horribly thought out solution of all thought out solutions to ever be used.
All in all its a half way decent brainless action movie but that's about it.
