10/10 or 9/10 for all of those movies...

      Can't wait!
Million Dollar Baby is still one of my all time favorites.

      • A movie like Secretariat would normally be right up my alley but the previews make it look cheesy. And Diane Lane is not my favorite actress.

I recently saw True Romance again. What a GREAT movie. It stands the test of time. I still maintain more people would've seen this movie if it had a different title.

          • Jonah Hex was really fast paced but visually worth seeing and Predators was expected to be, and ended up being in similar fashion just like th AvsP movies although had a nice cast! Why not, I reccomendseeing both!

            • We saw the Town and Paranormal Activity 2 this weekend.

The Town is a must see. Good (not great) story, but its very well presented.

Paranormal Activity 2 is just as good (IMO) as the first. If you like that sort of thing, you should absolutely go see it.

              • Went as seen Saw this weekend in 3D. It was a friggin disaster. The first Saw was awesome. Great acting, cool story and real edgy. This last one was the worst non B movie I've ever seen in my life. Just flat out BAD.

There wasnt anything good about it. Acting = Terrible. Story = Terrible. Special Effects = Terrible.

                • Go and see Secretariat. As it is a good family film. No sex, violence, cursing. Just the film to take the family too. Plus, it is based on the last Triple Crown winner of 1972 so far.

FN dig TRUE ROMANCE. Own the blu-ray.

The BRAD PITT character line from True Romance where he mumbles to himself after the hit man that just left the door after questioning him if Clarence and Alabama were there cracks me up. I actually use it quit a bit myself with my friends.

                    • It's not out until next march but for those of you in the crowd who are in to epic fantasy there's a new movie trailer out for the movie "Sucker Punch" on apple movie trailers. Looks to be a wild ride.

It's from the director of watchmen and the 300, both of which I found very enjoyable.

I know the comic purists didn't like watchmen......but those guys take themselves too seriously

                        • Just saw a couple of movies on veetle I liked:

Scott Pilgrim vs the World......it's silly and you kinda gotta suspend disbelief but I really enjoyed it. Visually appealing and well made if you can get past Michael Cera playing the same part for his entire career.

The other was a Guy Ritchie flick made a few years ago called ""Revolver". Very strange and cut in the vein of Snach but classic Ritchie.....a very full cast of characters

I never saw the first one but went with some friends to see the sequel. There was one scene that actually made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. It was pretty creepy.

                            • Got a classic quote from a movie here, let's see if any of you movie-buffs can guess it......., zero points for a correct answer, an extra zero if you can tell me the name of the character, and three extra zeroes for the actor, totalling fuck all points coz it's just a bit of fun with a Detroit reference........., here goes;

"You think you are impossible to live with, what about me? Blanche used to say to me, "what time do you want dinner?" I'd say, "I dunno, I'm not hungry." Then at three o'clock in the morning I'd wake her up and say, "NOW!" I've been the highest paid sports writer in the east for ten years and we've saved ten dollars in pennies. I drink like a fish, gamble every cent I earn, burn cigar holes in the furniture...., and then for our tenth wedding anniversary I took her to the New York Rangers/ Detroit Red Wings hockey game where she got hit by a puck......, I still can't figure out why she left me, that's how impossible I am."
"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
