It's an excellent flick, Rom. I think you'll really like it. The acting is awesome and I was really relieved that there wasn't any gore. The writing and performances were so solid, it didn't need gore to propel the narrative. It was tense throughout the entire flick.

Two Star Wars fans are in a critical condition in hospital after apparently trying to make light sabres by filling fluorescent light tubes with petrol.
A man, aged 20, and a girl of 17 are believed to have been filming a mock duel when they poured fuel into two glass tubes and lit it.
The pair were rushed to hospital after one of the devices exploded in woodland at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
A third person present at the incident had been questioned, police said.
Videotape found
A videotape was found nearby by police called to the scene on Sunday.
A police spokeswoman said the pair were taken to West Herts Hospital before being transferred to the specialist burns unit at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, in Essex.
They are both said to be in a critical condition.
She said the 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead suffered serious injuries.
She added: "At this stage we are unable to confirm the exact circumstances, but glass tubes and traces of accelerant (flammable substance) were found at the scene."
The final film in the Star Wars series, Revenge Of The Sith, arrived at UK cinemas last week.
One of the crucial scenes features a light sabre battle between Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder

I saw War of the Worlds this weekend. I heard a lot of people complain about the plot holes and not being impressed overall. I can see the points of those opinions. For me though the special effects were entertaining enough.
The most fun I've had at the theater so far this summer was Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
I just got finished watching What the Bleep Do We Know!? Here's what the movie sleeve says: "The neurological processes and quantum uncertainty of life are explored in this film. Thrust from her mundane life into an Alice in Wonderland-like world, Amanda (Marlee Matlin) must develop a brand-new perception of the world and the people she interacts with. Interviews with various experts are interspersed throughout the film, which combines narrative, documentary and animation."
I freaking loved this movie. It was exactly what I needed to experience at this exact moment. I'm totally on board with the theories presented in the movie.
Each day I fall more in love with the transcendent possibilities of the universe."And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."

I'm so sickened by the train wreck that is Tom Cruise that I'm not willing to see that movie until it hits HBO or something. I know it won't have any affect on that wackjob, but I have my principals.
the second one sounds really interesting! I'll have to check that out"I ain't the type to bitch, I ain't the type to cry, I will sit at your red light and wait for your shit to go by."

I hear ya on the train wreck. It's like WTF? However, if you're at all interested in WOTW, the FX are the main (possibly only) part worth watching and won't be the same on a smaller screen. Jes sayin."And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."

I used to love him, too. :( I think Scientology either causes madness or attracts nutjobs. ;)

I thought WotW was awesome and I really enjoyed it despite the plot holes, and there were many of them. I'm with you on Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Rom! The funnest movie I've watched this year so far although I thought the ending was a bit much. The department store sequence was pretty dark with a few lighter moments. Overall, I think the most entertaining parts of the flick were those where Jolie and Pitt were -- pardon the pun -- pitted against one another. "Chickenshit!" "Pussy!" LOL! I'll definitely be buying this puppy when it hits DVD.
I liked Batman Begins, although I liked WotW more. I went to see Fantastic Four last night and it was a decent, light and fun ride. I know many haven't liked this flick, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Just pure, popcorn entertainment.
