The latest movie to leave quite an impression on me is The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, adapted from the book of the same name by Jean-Dominque Bauby who, at 43, suffered a massive stroke, leaving him almost completely paralyzed. His mental faculties were intact and he could blink his left eye. He dictated the entire book by blinking when the correct letter was spoken by someone reciting the alaphabet. He died of pneumonia 10 days after his book was published. It's a moving story and the director, Julian Schnabel, did an incredible job with the movie. Much of it is shot as seen through the eye of Jean-Do."And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."

I saw Iron Man yesterday and I liked it too. I thought it was one of the better superhero movies.
Gwyneth Paltrow is underrated as a babe. She has a "plain" look that's very intoxicating.
I remember liking Iron Man as a child but I don't remember why. I don't think he had his own cartoon series and I didn't start collecting the comic books until I was about 11 or 12.

LOL! That was a funny skit.
Btw, another very good movie I've seen recently is In the Valley of Elah. Kept my attention the whole time. Tommy Lee Jones plays Tommy Lee Jones but I didn't mind."And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."

I took Jack and Will to see the new Indiana Jones movie today. Since we have gotten the box set of the first three with the bonus disc Jack has become an "Indy" expert. He's been counting the days until release and was not disapointed with the latest offering.
It was a lot of fun and tied up some loose ends. Quite a few good laughs and some good moments. If you enjoyed the first three, you will like this one.
BTW, it was very predictable, but it really didn't matter. It was what it was...Last edited by CGVT; May 23, 2008, 07:47 AM.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

I saw Indy on Thursday afternoon after golfing. It was all I expected it to be, if you weren't an Indy fan then you probably won't enjoy this one as much. Its not the greatest movie ever made, but it was pretty entertaining overall. I'll be adding it to the DVD collection when it comes out... speaking of which, I can't wait for Rambo to come out on DVD Tuesday.Lions free since 6/23/2020
