also I haven't finished watching Pirates of the Carib 2(fell asleep 3 times trying to watch it) Is it worth and how about part 3? Are they worth watching?
F#*K OHIO!!!
You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.
Ocean's 13 was pretty good. I liked it better than 12. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry was so very dumb, full of cliches and such a waste of time. The Rocket, about the life of Quebec hockey player Maurice Richard, was a good flick.
"And I'm a million different people from one day to the next..."
i liked ocean's quite a bit.. i wasnt a fan of 12..
chuck and larry was a gay movie..err..lol

When was that made? I hadn't heard about it. Was it only released in Canada or was it some kind of indie film?
I'm thinking it was not widely released. Netflix recommended it to me a little "gem" I might like based on my ratings. It was just released on DVD last week but I think it was released in Canada in the theaters back in 2006.

One of my buddys said it was very funny and when I told her I didn't like it, she was surprised and said everyone she knows thought it was funny. <shrugs> For someone who loves to laugh, I sure do have an aversion to stupid comedies.

I agree about Ann Hathaway. Man she is gorgeous. I just wish Hollywood would've cast the roles a bit closer in age. I looked up the actors ages in the TV series and they were 10 years apart.

Wow. That movie is fucking awesome. This is definately the must see movie right now. Definately a movie you have to pay attention to, each moment of it. I know I'm rather abstract when I talk about a movie but I don't wanna ruin it for anybody who hasn't seen it and wants to. I already can't wait for this one to come out on Blu-Ray.
Someone mentioned "I am Legend" and I went to see it last night.

Will Smith is hit or miss for me, but the trailer was appealing enough to draw me in to see the film, which was exceptional. Smith is playing the first 2/3 of the movie alone and it's his best demonstration of the craft since The Six Degrees of Separation. I don't count The Pursuit of Happyness cause I didn't much care for that particular contrived confection. His only companion is his dog, the equivalent of Tom Hanks Wilson volleyball in Castaway and there certainly are similiarities between the two movies. Only it's more as if Tom Hanks found himself washed up on the island of Dr. Moreau.
Lots of creepiness in this flick as well as a lot of legitimate "boo" moments. The art direction is superb. The dilapidated condition of New York is fascinating and carries a certain verisimilitude. Smith deer hunting on Broadway in a car is as dynamic a scene as a car chase in an action flick.
It's a remake of The Omega Man with Charlton Heston, but it makes the original look absolutely quaint. The same premise with disease wiping out 99% of humanity. However, in this case it's the measles virus which has been engineered to successfully cure cancer and has mutated after the fact with catastrophic effect when it mutates and eventually becomes an airborne pathogen. There are those individuals who are immune and there are those who end up mutating into night creatures which are scary as hell. Smith is a scientist who was working on curing the disease and who remains in New York trying to find a cure, despite the fact it appears he's the only survivor on the planet. Setting up a broadcast on every AM frequency, he says he'll be at a particular pier every day at noon to offer food, shelter and protection. However, he retreats to the home he's turned into an innocuous fortress long before dark because he doesn't want to take a chance of the dark creatures finding out where he lives.
The deterioration of Smith's mental state and his "social" skills really come to light when a surviving woman and young child answer his call, as well as save his life.
Overall, it's an excellent flick and I'll be buying this puppy when it comes out in DVD.
