  • Most people watching the movies are uninterested in what happens in the comics. Disney is catering to the casuals as they should be. It's going to be hard to ever top a story in which half the living beings in the universe vanish. Those are about the biggest stakes you can have.

Thanos is a badass this is true. Kang makes him look like Glass Joe from Punch-Out.

The next version of the Avengers is going very interesting. They are not going to have the tech genius of Tony Stark, the strategic flexible mind of T'Challa either, or Captain America's leadership. At this point the only person that has an inkling to the threat is Loki (ironic).

If I was guessing it probably will be Loki who sounds the alarm going to Thor to scramble the Avengers. But who will be Avengers?
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

What if half the beings in every dimension vanish?
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

              The Marvels looks interesting.

Guardians of the Galaxy was good. The best of the series. The last of the series.

No kidding? I think Guardians has been a really good series. That’s cool

                      • We saw Guardians of the Galaxy 3 on IMAX 3D yesterday. It was a little long but pretty entertaining. I was surprised at the few moments that made me tear up! Loved the 3D aspect -- it seems much improved and not just a gimmick.

Downside was that the IMAX theater at this AMC location didn't have the upgraded cushy seats that every other theater in the world seems to have these days. It's hard to go back to the old school seating. My back did not like it at all.

That seems typical for AMC unless we happen to use the same one occassionally. Everyone else including the hole in the wall mall theaters seem to have upgraded seats but not AMC.

                          • I took my nephew and niece to see Guardians of the Galaxy today too. I liked it. I got choked up at a few scenes too.

Your mall has THOSE kind of theaters? And I thought it was loosey goosey here in the Pacific.
Where are we going; and what's up with this hand basket?
