Superman is the hardest character to write compelling stories for. It's always been a problem, the villian has to have some Rube Goldberg scheme involving kryptonite or a villian from outer space. The scope has to be big too.

Batman is the easiest guy to write a story about, he's just a rich guy with cool toys and his scope is more or less protect crime ridden Gotham.

I enjoy the Adam West shows more than any of the movies besides the two Keaton movies. Everyone at the time thought those Burton movies were so dark, but they are basically just an update of the campy shit of the TV show.

I thought I was the only one that liked the 2 Keaton movies.

I liked the first Nolan film, I don't think the Dark Knight is great. It's good. I didn't care to watch the third one.

One of my favorite movie quotes. And Only Heath Ledger's (RIP) Joker is better. IMO

Bale is my favorite Batman. It was weird hearing him say he didn't do the role justly.

I get it and as I said I like all of it, but give me 1 Batman origin movie and move on. You think that if they remake the same story 3-4 times they'll actually do really good at it? Plus, when did super blue skies Superman have a dark edge about him? That turned after 911, but prior his story, TV shows and movies were so "nice" Now all of DC's characters try to follow that Dark theme.

I'm actually early '60s and can remember watching the Batman re-runs on channel 50 and then doing the "BAM!" "POW" thing as I kicked my brothers tail. Playfuly of course. Noboby could tell us we weren't great actors

In the newest Batman they don't even do the origin story at all.

He's in his 2nd year on the job.

Finally saw The Revenant the other day. I saw a program that talked about Jim Bridger and Hugh Glass then did a little reading about them before I watched it.

It was pretty true to the story. Of course they took some liberties... Glass had no son and Fitzgerald did not end up as the movie portrayed, but man, I enjoyed it. Tha acting was top notch and the portrayal of that period in time and the Natives seemed to be as realistic as most any movie that I can remember and was in keeping with Mrs Richardson's 6th grade Michigan history lessions at Capac Middle School on the early New World fur trade.
The 2.5 hrs flew by.

I have not seen it yet, but I did watch Jeremiah Johnson the other day. Some say he's up there still.

Picked up the 4K UHD Blu-ray of "Everything Everywhere All at Once" from Amazon earlier this week as a blind buy, and something for me to watch, and man, was it good!!

I don't mind weird movies, as long as the plot makes some sense, and keeps me engaged. This movie succeeded on both counts.

Picked up the 4K UHD Blu-ray of "Everything Everywhere All at Once" from Amazon earlier this week as a blind buy, and something for me to watch, and man, was it good!!

I don't mind weird movies, as long as the plot makes some sense, and keeps me engaged. This movie succeeded on both counts.

I'll give it a go. Future has me wrapped up in Terminal List at the moment. Its got pretty damned good.

If you are picking the Terminal List over that movie, it's time to take a step back and make a critical evaluation of your life choices. If you are making these kind of errors on the small things in life, you are in trouble for the big things in life.
