  • Will need to revisit Rogue One. Was obviously shattered that night at the cinema. Ton of popcorn, nachos & cheese, foot long dog, and a vat of coke (the drink)…,,… was carbed to the max.

OT used imagery that everyone understood to set a stage and that moved to dialogs and monologues in the prequals. It wasn't an accident that visually the empire reminded people of the Nazi regime. I think thats what the sequels got right. Specially TLJ. I have a much softer spot for that than the other two, than most. It was all the other stuff that they did wrong.

              • And I wouldn't say the new Strange movie is bad...but a bit weak. As most of the marvel movies are at this point.

Moon Knight (on disney+) started out very good but limped to the finish-line.

                • I probably need to watch it again to digest everything in it. But, I spent most of the time wondering WTF was going on. A lot of circular issues. Confusing movie.

You may want to see it for yourself to make your own eval. But me and the wife was a little disappointed.

I think you have to treat the movie as two different tales. First the Multiverse. More information, introduction of at least 4 new characters that could show up in one form or another in the MCU. This is the long game part of the movie.

The Main story was some slight character growth for Dr. Strange, sticking his neck out for others and the story of the enemy (no spoilers). They just used the one story act as a back drop for the other.

                    • I really enjoyed Spider-Man No Way Home.

I think it’s a struggle to make the less mainstream characters interesting. The first Dr. Strange movie wasn’t bad. I was looking forward to this one.

Yes the last Spidey movie was WOW. The Dr. Strange movie tried to capture some of that magic but IDK. I probably need to watch it again. BTW, both Dr. Strange movies remind me of college. Some of thosebeer GIF days after a few adult beverages I felt like I was walking on walls
