    • Finally saw Invincible. It was pretty good. I was entertained. One particular scene was overdone and overly dramatic which really turned me off.

Looking forward to We Are Marshall.

      • Saw The Prestige tonight. Great flick! This is one of those movies you could watch a few times and not get tired of it. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD, I will own it then.

        • Saw 'Casino Royale' the other night. I thought it was very good except for 2 things: it slowed down a bit too much towards the end for the romance part and I didn't think the Bond girls were all that impressive. Other than that, Daniel Craig was great and the action was entertaining.

          • You didn't think the Bond girls were impressive? as in not hot? I thought they were amazingly hot.

I liked it and thought it was the best bond in a long time. He's much more raw and masculine than Dalton or Brosnan. He's kinda like a throwback to Connery in that way IMO.

I agree that hte end was too long. I thought it was ending like 4 times before it actually ended.

            • Eva Green didn't do it for me, as right for the part or physically as Bond girl. And the blond chick who was the bad guy's girl wasn't my cup of tea either. The lady from the Bahamas was pretty nice though.

For what it's worth, my girlfriend agreed on my assessment of the women. And she almost never has anything bad to say about women on TV or in movies.

              • Me I liked Eva Green. But i'm a sucker for "smart" women.

Ftr, I am a sucker for smart women, and she was playing a smart woman, but I don't know if she is really a smart woman.

                • Don't see The Fountain. Trust me on this one. It royally sucked. I wish I could get back those 2 hours of my life.

On the other hand, I rented Clerks II tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it.

                    • I fell asleep about 10mins into the movie. I think I might of snored cos I got elbowed by Tiffany. I'd of left then, but I thought she wanted to watch the movie. When the agony finally was over, she looked at me and said "That sucked".

                      • The Fountain is an arthouse film with A-list talent. In some ways it recalls the trippier parts of 2001 fused with a love story... and the visuals are flat-out beautiful.

Not a popcorn flick, but recommended nonetheless. Add this to The Prestige, and it's been a hell of a year for Hugh Jackman performances.

                        • I saw the scariest movie I've seen in awhile. "An Inconvenient Truth" - Al Gore's documentary on global warming. He did a great job with the movie and it's scary how serious a problem global warming is.

My Movies this week were "Talladega Nights" , and "Mixed Nuts"
T Nights was so stupid , but it was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time,Will Ferrell is the best comedy actor out there , right now ,No contest!

With the dvd package , they threw in the Steve Martin movie Mixed Nuts, also has Adam Sandler (doing is guitar , make up songs as he goes along character) and Juliette Lewis (liked her in Kalifornia)
I thought this wasn't Steve Martin at his best, but he can take a movie like this and make it worth while,It was worth the watch, acting was great, story was kinda , well , you know,OK.
