My cousins saw Batman vs Superman and they all said it was bad. They thought Jessie Eisenberg was terrible (I think they loved Michael Rosenbaum as Lex in the Smallville TV show). They did like Wonder Woman though.
Regarding Batman vs. Superman - did you recognize Detroit in any of the shots??
No but in all honesty I wasn't really looking for it. I didn't know it was shot there.
Very cool
F#*K OHIO!!!

Thought Lex was weirdly written but amazingly acted. He felt a lot more like Riddler than Lex Luthor.
That's actually pretty spot on.

Rogue One will have excellent visuals at least.
I don't have high expectations because of the director. His movie, "Godzilla" (2014), pissed me off with one of the worst plot decisions I've seen in recent years... SPOILER: killing off Bryan Cranston 1/3 of the way through the movie after heavily advertising this film would star Cranston. He was the best part! Why...
It will probably be a fun, great visuals, decent movie.
Nothing extraordinary.
We know how it ends anyways.
Donnie Yen & Forest Whitaker's characters both look very cool. I'm interested to see how they handle a Star Wars movie that doesn't focus on the Jedi. If they can make those "sub" characters engaging enough, it'll be a success.
They need to do a good job with this one though, or people might write future ones off without even seeing them.
I'm excited for it and hope its done well. With Disney throwing its huge budget at the star wars franchise I'm hoping we can finally have the "Han Solo tales"

AAL- Sam Martin - Because the Punter is one of Detroit's most used assets
I think that's one of the three anthology movies planned. I just like it because it means 6 straight years of Star Wars. As long as it's semi competent I think I will love it because this Galaxy is fricken huge and I have always wanted to know what was happening when a Skywalker wasn't messing it up. That and I am a SW geek, so again at minimum 5 more SW movies and 5 more straight years of SW.

I thought Avatar was pretty great but I don't see how 4 more would even be entertaining.

James Cameron is promising an epic saga.
Everything Cameron has directed is good. I think it could work based on his history...
The problem is nobody really cares about the characters (Sam Worthington, crap) in "Avatar."
It was successful more for its visuals and cinematography. I can't think of a great saga (Star Wars, LOTR, Godfather, Dark Knight, Toy Story) without likable characters.
