Seen it twice already. I actually saw it in theater and thought it was good, but I've heard people don't like it?
JJ Abrams always makes a good movie (MI 3, Star Trek, Super 8 ). Not anything amazing, but at least good.

I saw "The Lego Movie" and didn't think it could be great (like the reviews said), but I think it actually was! 8/10 or 7/10... Haven't decided yet.

    • My son absolutely loves the Lego Movie, but he's 5 and butt jokes are the funniest thing in the world to him.

      • Ahh, another Memento fan. Great movie. I also liked The Prestige. On the subject of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles...damn, I miss John Candy. He was only 43 when he died. Ugh.

Watched St. Vincent the other night. Kinda predictable but likable.

        • John Candy was awesome indeed. I can't believe he was only 43.

          St Vincent was pretty good.

              Haven't seen it.
My friend, who is a boxer, loved it. Then again, he is kind of biased and probably would like Rocky 5.
The Eminem soundtrack complements that movie, which might make it cool.
              Reviews say its above average.

Really, there haven't been any movies out recently. It does seem like there are watchable movies coming out next Friday.
Everest, probably not a good movie, but entertaining.
Black Mass, looks decent... I'm not really a mob movie fan though.
              Sicario, supposedly is really good.
Maze Runner, lol nevermind... it just has Littlefinger from GoT.

                • Woody Harrelson Starring in ‘War of the Planet of the Apes’

Yes! With Matt Reeves returning + an excellent casting choice of Harrelson, that has me excited for this movie.
                  Dawn was excellent.

Visually, this looks amazing! If Favreau was given more control of the production of this movie, I trust it'll be great.
Favreau of course is the director of great movies like "Iron Man", "Elf", and "Chef."
But he has some busts like "Iron Man 2" and "Cowboys & Aliens." "Iron Man 2", rumors have said that the production was rushed, making it harder for Favreau to make a good sequel. IDK what happened with "Cowboys & Aliens." ... IMO, it was below average - average.

Woody is a phenomenal actor. I figured after True Detective the great parts would start coming in.

I paid for Netflix this month (late last month), but haven't been able to use it because of school, Madden... AND college football/ NFL are both starting soon.

I recently saw "Plains, Trains, and Automobiles" for the first time (released several years before I was born and never shown on TV) ... on Netflix.
                              VERY good movie.
Google says its on netflix but i don't have it so confirm but look for rudderless, not a big well known movie but damn good.

                              • Yea, it was very good.

"Everest" and "Black Mass" come out this weekend and both are getting good reviews. I might see one of these.
"Everest" would be a great experience in a theater, but "Black Mass" looks a little better.
