  • I honestly have no wish to even see it. The last 2 have just been stupid I've been turned off by the whole series. I mean this has got to be the last one Arnold can be in right?

    • I did however watch Insurgent this weekend. I'm really surprised at hot good it is compared to the IMDB ratings. It reminds me of Hunger Games because of the female lead but I actually like it a little better. Looking forward for the new 2 installments.

          • We went to see the movie War Room on Friday and both of us really liked it. It took #2 at the box office for the weekend.

Pretty much. Its just amazing at how much sugar there is in our foods. The lead breaks down how many teaspoons of sugar there is in our foods and its crazy. Even the advertised "Healthy" selections are just loaded with sugar. I'm not sure what happened to America but we've let these corporations run wild and our population has ate it up. Quite literally.

This is why we've turned into a punchline about the average waistline in the US. The sad thing is nothing is ever going to change because most are too lazy or uninformed about what they're eating.

              • Have you ever watched the movie called "King Corn"? They go into a lot of how the U.S. started subsidizing the overproduction of crops in the U.S. which led to an overabundance of corn. They needed to do something with all the excess corn, and scientists created high fructose corn syrup.

The movie is a little slow at times, but it's in the same vein and you might find it interesting.

                  • I like to show these kind of movies to my students for discussion class, but I think you're absolutely right that most of them just don't care at all.

                    • So this is my final semester (finally) and I have to randomly take another core education class. Those are the non- major related classes you had to take to get your degree. Most people would normally take wine tasting or golf in this situation.
Those classes were already filled up, so I decided to take Introduction to Film, which is somehow a 200 level course.
We watched "Inception" during our first class... How awesome is that?
I'm just surprised by the comments people made in that class. A lot of people said they never saw "Inception" before (REALLY?!). One person said "Interstellar" was the best movie he's ever seen.. It's great, but not Nolan's best movie.

Just feels weird to me to take "corporate /advanced tax accounting"... Then to take intro to film. Very different classes haha. Nothing against film classes. I'm actually excited to learn about this subject and feel like I should if I've seen over 2000 movies (according to my IMDB ratings).

Netflix just rolled out here in Japan this week though, so I'm thinking I'll sign up and see about watching some movies.

                          • Oh boy, yea that's a must see (if you like Nolan's other movies).
I was 17 and saw "Inception" during it's weekend release... It's not necessarily an emotional movie, but I got emotional because of how amazing I perceived it to be at the time.
Still probably one of my top 10 favorite movies. Between "Memento", "The Dark Knight", "The Prestige" (underrated), and of course "Inception" for Nolan's best. How can you pick...

                            • Any great movies on Netflix?
I paid for Netflix this month (late last month), but haven't been able to use it because of school, Madden... AND college football/ NFL are both starting soon.

I recently saw "Plains, Trains, and Automobiles" for the first time (released several years before I was born and never shown on TV) ... on Netflix.
                              VERY good movie.
