  • X-Men was about what I thought it would be. Fun movie with nothing standing out. Section 8 previews look amazing! I will be seeing that soon.

    • Even though "The Hangover 2" was pretty much the same as the 1st movie, it was still amazing, 9/10 ... the original is better because the character Allen had more classic lines in the original film. He wasn't the same in the 2nd.

"Super 8" was really good. Basically E.T. on steroids with special effects, but it has a "feel good" feeling once the movie is done. I thought it was also similar to "The Goonies." 8/10

Both movies won't disappoint you. Not "must sees."

        • The Hobbit needs the Tarentino treatment. THAT would set it apart.

          • X-Men First Class ...BEST movie of the the year! Surprised me, I expected it to be just entertaining ... but the guy that directed this directed "Kiss-Ass" ... also surprisingly good last year.

Its like "Batman Begins." See it! 10/10

              • I'd give X-Men a 6.25. I thought it was good but didn't blow me away in any facet. I never read the comics, though.

Wouldnt have mattered. The movie did not follow the comics in any way. I wold have given it more than a 6.25 but not a 10 either.

                  • I watched the new Karate Kid. It was pretty much what I expected. The original is better but I watched that when I was a lot younger too.

                    • Saw the documentary Stranded: I've Come from a Plane That Crashed on the Mountains about the rugy team from Uruguay whose plane crashed in the Andes mountains on their way to Chile. I've been intrigued with this story every since I saw the movie Alive. The doc was good. Nothing new revealed since I've read books and seen other pieces. Just reminded me of what an incredible story it is.

                      • Has anybody seen that new flick with Jim Carrey and some Penquins?

                        How 'bout The Cars 2?

My 8 year old daughter wants to see them, I was just wondering if the 2 movies will keep her in her seat or will I be chasing her in the lobby every 5 minutes?

                          • Saw Transformers Dark of the Moon last night. Good movie but didnt blow me away. It was cheesy at times but the action sequences were great. If you are on the fence about weather to see it or not, wait for the DVD

                            • saw it as well. I agree, good movie, not Michael bay's best. But it could be the best as far as special effects and explosions I have ever seen!
