Does your opinion of their music really affect the humor of the skit? That seem wierd to me. It's like saying...I don't like knock knock jokes because everyone has doorbells now.

That's not even funny. I find it incredibly hard to believe that actually happened. An actual bump and an Oops look the other way I can understand. They just kept after it. That's beyond incredibly stupid in open daylight with people walking down the street and looking out their windows.
I've seen stuff like that before in NYC (well not quite that bad... well I did see a car crushed by a tree once but that was from high winds). The fireman, police, construction workers don't give a shit about peoples cars. You'll see a Mercedes only a year old look trashed from the roads, parking, and just general abuse.
Hell half the people who parallel park in the NYC area use the bump method. I would never own a new car in NYC unless I was wealthy enough to not care... and NYC is loaded with people who fit in that category.
