  • I read it the first time.

What she knows and what he knew (if he was being devious) are two different things is my point.

I'm not saying he was trying to hurt her but then again, WTF do I know about that guy other than a pretty telling thing about his private thoughts (in regards to building such a device).

      Your point is ill reverent.

I can not understand why a lover would want to be devious. I guess it depends on how long their relationship has been going but your suggestion that he knew and she didn't, does not float with the story as written. You are trying to put blame on someone that should know better and there is no evidence in the statements that he did or does.

Point here is you are jumping to conclusions with knowledge you have and expect others to have also.....

Stupid? No question. Criminal? I doubt it.

      • Just as you are taking the same snippet of released words and assuming you know everything about the situation.

No one does is what needs to be understood.

Its a sensational story with very little info for anyone outside of the two participants to know whats really going on.

You can assume as much as I took liberty.

Both of us are just guessing.

        • VAN NUYS - A Tarzana woman was found guilty Thursday of dousing an exotic dancer and single mother with gasoline and setting her on fire last year outside the Tarzana bikini bar Babes N' Beer.

Rianne Theriault-Odom, 28, who had been rejected as a dancer at the club, faces mandatory life sentences for the guilty verdicts of one count each of aggravated mayhem and torture. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury acquitted her of a third count, attempted murder and the lesser charge of attempted voluntary manslaughter.
"I'm satisfied that the jury listened to all the evidence and obviously deliberated thoroughly and held the defendant accountable," said prosecutor Marcus Musante, with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. "All you can ask for is that justice be carried out."

          The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder

              Yes it is.

In the south, you need to add crack addict to exotic dancer and single mother

                • Jeez guys. I feel sorry for the woman. Where's your empathy. Not every exotic dancer is a piece of shit. She had a child she was trying to support. That's gone now.

YT and I were making a generalization. I wasn't speaking about the victim, I was mainly poking fun at the unnecessary mentioning that the woman wasn't just an exotic
dancer, but a single mother also. There was no need for that except to try to invoke extra emotion. Would it have been any less awful what happened to the woman if she wasn't a mother?

                      ..or an exotic dancer?

                      ..or a meth addict?

                      Thanks for the explanation Frank!

Man electrocuted after urinating on power line

Authorities in Washington have confirmed the death of a man who was accidentally killed when he urinated on a downed power line after a car crash.

50-year-old Roy Messenger was not seriously hurt in the crash when he collided with the power pole and his car rolled into a ditch.

While he was waiting for a relative to arrive to pull his car from the ditch, Mr Messenger was electrocuted when he apparently urinated without observing the live wire which had fallen.

According to officials, the urine stream served as a conductor, allowing the electricity to kill him.

Pre-autopsy reports said burn marks had indicated how the electricity had travelled through Messenger's body

                          • This one happened here in good ole Athens, Tennessee!

A man who allegedly robbed a downtown Athens bank Monday morning tried to make his getaway on a bicycle but didn't get far before colliding with a SUV. He was then apprehended by bank security.

According to a news release from the Athens Police Department, Jack Lee Braden III, 20, of Delay Street in Athens, walked in and handed a note to a bank teller at the downtown office of Athens Federal Community Bank just after 11am.

According to Athens Police Department Detective Sgt. Heith Willis, the note demanded the teller give up $50,000 in $100 bills. The teller complied to the demand for money, handing over the small amount of money she had in her cash drawer. According to the police report filed by APD officer Jackie Holmes, Braden left the bank with $500, which was later recovered by police.

"The note led the teller to believe that she was in danger if she didn't comply with Braden's request, so she did," said Police Chief Chuck Ziegler.

While the note did make threats that made the teller feel in danger, the end of the note thanked her and ended with "have a nice day."

Braden's day was far from nice after leaving the bank.

He left the bank, jumped on a bicycle and was headed from Washington Avenue toward West Madison Avenue when he collided with a SUV and was thrown from the bike.

Willis said Braden hit the SUV so hard an imprint of Braden's face could be seen in the window of the vehicle. Braden was scared and bruised from the collision.

Willis said Braden had been riding a yellow World Traveller bike, and older model with thin bald tires.

The SUV was driven by Bryan Jackson, who said he was traveling along Madison Avenue when out of the corner of his eye he saw the bike speeding down the hill.

"He was flying down the hill," Jackson said. "He slammed into me. He must have been going around 30 miles an hour."

Jackson said he got out of his car to try to help Braden, not knowing he had just been involved in a robbery. He said Braden got up and started walking away, telling him he couldn't wait and began walking back toward the bank.

According to police, moments after the crash Braden staggered back towards Athens Federal and was taken into custody by the bank's security officer.

Jackson said he followed Braden as he walked back toward Athens Federal and saw him get taken into custody.

Said Jackson, "It was a strange day."

Braden was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for minor cuts and abrasions suffered when he hit the pavement after crashing into the SUV. He was then taken into custody by Athens police and charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held in the McMinn County Justice Center on $100,000 bond.

Police say Braden did not have a weapon but because of the wording of the note he was charged with aggravated robbery.

Braden is set to appear in McMinn County General Sessions Court today for arraignment.
