A golfer is trudging thru the woods looking for his ball that was terribly duck hooked from the white tees. Not too far from where he finally finds his ball, he sees a man hugging a tree. Curious, he walks over and asks the man why he is doing such a silly thing. The man says that he can feel the inner soul of the tree and becomes one with the earth, and that he can answer the world's most sacred questions when doing so. He asks the golfer if he wants to try, which he most certainly did.
When the golfer gets his arms around the tree, the man clanks handcuffs on him, reaches around, grabs the golfer's wallet and speeds off into the woods.
The stranded golfer goes unnoticed for almost an hour when finally another golfer comes traipsing thru. He yells for the man to help. The new golfer comes over circling around the tree as the first golfer tells him the story of the man who robbed him and left him in such a fashion.
Instead of helping the man get loose, the free man yanks the shackled man's drawers down, hugs him from behind, kisses him on the back of the neck, and whispers in his ear, "Today just isn't your day, is it?"
