Just as a comparison the 2012 MSU schedule only have 2 extra hard road games. At Wisconsin and at UofM. They still get OSU to play from the other division but at home this time.

Also interesting is MSU will start the season with Boise State at home.

With Cousins gone, I'd say your chances of beating MSU next year at home are pretty solid.

There is nothing neutral about playing Alabama in Texas. It will be 95% Alabama fans.

I'm sure U-M will have a big chunk of their own fans traveling. Alabama will definitely have more, but it shouldn't be that bad.

I went to the Blockbuster Bowl in Tampa one year. (Woodson's Heisman year) It was about 90/10 Alabama fans.

The game in Texas is essentially a home game for Alabama.

Yesterdays game was a war that is for sure...as soon as I thought the Wolvies got a handle on it...they give up a TD drive in 1:28,....then they seem to have salted it away....overturn TD and 25 yard penalty....it was a very entertaining game....

At least it will be a veteran team led by a senior QB. Maybe Michigan has a shot. You never know how these matchups will work out.

If there is anytime of year to catch a team like Bama off guard it's that first game. Anything can happen.

UM kicking off the Big 10/ACC challenge.

Trey Burke is so going to play in the NBA. He has a 3 point shot, both catch and shoot and off the dribble. He has elite ball handling, good quickness, can finish at cup w/contact, can hit floaters as his midrange change-up, and is a playmaker off the dribble for his teammates.

Had no idea he was this good. Trice too at MSU is pretty good. That is a couple 3 star guys who the Michigan schools flat out stole. Burke is from Columbus no less, not even offered by OSU.

I still kind of wish we had landed Jimmy Ballgame (especially just to have seen the mind games he would play with Dantoni and Frank) but that is not to say that I'm not very happy with Coach Hoke. He probably is the better choice for a long-term coach and I love how he makes it all about his kids.

Harbaugh is a once in a lifetime coach that's taken a shitty team and turned it into one that can go all the way at the pro level. Had he'd have come to Michigan I have no doubt U of M would've been transformed into a pure powerhouse...

While I wanted Miles as my #2 and thought Hoke was purely a "last call" at the bar and we dove on the grenade, I've been gladly wrong. Hoke has done a great job landing nice recruiting classes. Our schedule was shit this year and Hoke had the great fortune of not playing against sweater vest but I feel this team could once again be in the National race in the up coming years.

but make no mistake about it. Harbaugh would've been great.

Once in a lifetime gets bandied about pretty easy nowadays. There are at least three once in lifetime QBs playing in the NFL right now.
