I just dislike how the school calls them "throwbacks." To be a throwback would require that uniform existed in the past at some point.

Actually, Mr. Pizza Guy came up with some alternate wording for the jerseys, like "tribute" or some such crap.

That uniform, as it is presented, has never been a University of Michigan uniform at any point in the school's history. You can't pay tribute to something that doesn't exist.*

There's something wrong with the brain wiring of administrators in the Big T12 right now... beside their horrible idea of logo design. Can't just call it "East Division" and "West Division"... nah, "Legends" and "Leaders" is the ticket. It's not a third jersey... it's a throwback... I mean... a tribute.

It's a fucking third jersey. That's all it is. Call a spade a spade and deal with it, you vapid cockwhores.

Mr. Pizza Guy made it a point to say that Michigan was a brand when he took over as A.D. and he's done plenty to show he's trying to keep the cash flow coming in. Some ideas I can get behind, like the scoreboards in Michigan Stadium, Crisler and Yost. I'm also fine with him taking the game against Alabama in Dallas next year. The outdoor hockey game was very good. However, calling it "The Big Chill at the Big House" was cheesy. Getting corporate sponsors for the Spring Game is a little worrisome but the jersey debacle is the worst so far.

I was in A2 until the end of July and hadn't seen a one but Jamie (in the U of M forum) said that he saw a few at the game last Saturday.

Does anyone think Denard will ever look natural as a pocket passer? I think UofM would be much better off using an option attack while Denard is the QB. Not necessarily an RR spread option but something more like what Navy does.
