Brandon will meet with Miles tomorrow. Then deny the meeting took place. They'll meet again Wednesday and Brandon will reluctantly acknowledge it. Brandon will then continue his "national" search, and will proceed to interview nobody/nobody of consequence, except maybe the Hoker. A week from now the rumors will be they are "considering" offering Miles the position. All in all, by next Friday or maybe the week after expect a potential offer to Miles to be under consideration.

They had some practice with basketball coaches and they kind of bungled those as well. The jury is still out on Beilein.

Serious question, can Brandon NOT hire Miles now? can you imagine the outcry if they would hire Hoke and he struggled for a year or two?

I think that it pretty much has to get done or Michigan looks really bad. It's probably already a done deal. I also think this pargraph is Brandon trying to grease the skids to brng Miles in:

I really think it's been Miles for a while. He flew to Hilton head ( where Lloyd has a house) and then to New York (to meet with Stephen Ross?) before heading back to baton Rouge.
