The game was on ESPN 2 ? (they said it many times) but still show it over Nebraska - WU Bowl game? If people wanted to see it - change the fucking channel, they tried to make me watch it, thank god I have a DVR. Then I had to figure out what happen to Jake Locker by the time they got back to football.

My thing is college football, can you imagine Stafford going back to pass (in the post season/close game) and they intrude it with this. Think about it.

No, its fine, it was already on ESPN 2 to watch for the 3rd time. Blocking out Nebraskas bowl game for this was a crime. Apparently you didn't think if it was a Lions game interrupted for 5 minutes, for girls basketball.

Uhh... honestly, I think there's quite a few Lions fans would thank the Lord to have the game interrupted for 5 minutes...

Now, with that said, I'd understand ESPN's move more if it was a game they were broadcasting on an obscure ESPNU channel, and thought, "Hey, the nation might want to see this."

The fact that it was on ESPN2 (which is a standard cable nationwide broadcast channel in its own right), does make it a bit bothersome. You could have simply informed people what was going on over on ESPN2 and left the ESPN broadcast alone.

Ahh, the first to make a joke, if the Lions were good and in the postseason people around here would flood the local station with complaints . Now that I think about it, im sure the local station there in Big 'N' would know better. If its under their control?

I'm fine with putting women college basketball on ESPN2.
Problem is (for "them") no one will watch! Lol
And eventually they will take it off because no one cares!

Just don't waste my time and cover that sport for 5 minutes on Sportscenter to open the show...

I agree. What Uconn did is irrelevant.
If womens basketball mattered, they wouldn't give out free tickets for Students here at Purdue University. lol
Where as for men, we had to stand in line for days to get season tickets!
2 different sports; don't compare ESPN ...
& Don't waste our time!
