Everybody assumes he would take the UM job without much hesitation but in reality he may want no part of the job.

Trying to resurrect one's alma mater (especially one with as much history as Michigan's) is a ton of pressure. And he's basically the second coming up in Palo Alto. So he may very well be just fine where he's at. And not to mention the big dollars that will be coming his way if he stays.

AND about Brady Hoke (again) ... I can't really see this guy becoming the next HC of Michigan. A lot of people would be REALLY mad.

This sounds like The Les Miles Debacle all over again. The Stanford AD is making a preemptive strike to force Harbaugh into a quick decision. Now all we need is for Herbstreit to say that he's been told by a reliable source that JH will definitely be the new head coach at Michigan.

Onle less thing to worry about, Brady Hoke, rumored to be a candidate to coach Michigan should Rich Rodriguez be fired, has agreed to a contract extension at San Diego State through the 2015 season.

Side note: The orlando sentinel is saying Dee Hart will remain a UM commit as long as RR is the coach, and if A change is made he will go to........Florida? Alabama is out and it's about the spread for Dee apparently.
