The cock guzzling man whore needs to go back to the backwoods where playing no defense is a sign of honor.......

There was a mass exodus out of Michigan, not just Mallet. Even then say what you will, they had damn near their entire defense returning and what, won 3 games?

If you inherit a premium program you maintain with what you inherit until you get what you want to do with what you want. DickRod didn't do that, he imploded an organization.

Do you know how much of that team graduated?

          Henne? Gone.

          Hart? Gone.

          Manningham? Gone.

          Long? Gone.

          Crable? Gone.

A good chunk of their leadership and key players were on their way out the door as it already was. Rodriguez no doubt made it worse, but let's not pretend like the Wolverines were simply going to retool and be back on the road to 9-3 and 10-2 the following year. The Wolverines were going to struggle regardless of the coach.

That's why I was lenient on Rodriguez the first couple of seasons. He didn't have all that much to work with and was incorporating a new system. But three years is plenty of time to prove you're moving forward... and I don't think Rodriguez can honestly say that.

          Time for him to go.

Wolverines would have been an 8-4 or 9-3 team, they were returning damn near their entire defense. Blow it up and what you get is 3-9.....

            • Meh... 9-3 would have been pushing it. I could have seen 8-4 happening. 9-3 would have required them to beat two or three of the top teams in the Big Ten... I don't see that.

But that's all speculation. I agree with everyone else that Rodriguez hasn't shown nearly enough, and he's had plenty to time to show something. Time to cut him loose.

                thank you and good night......

not only did he make the team worse, but in 2 years since he has repeatedly shit the bed and the field....

THIS IS EXPECTED AT FORD FIELD, NOT IN ANN ARBOR... IT'S LIKE HAVING 2 LION GAMES PER WEEK.

I don't care how fucking shiney this asshole's Powerpoint presentation is for next year, he fucking needs to go RIGHT MOTHER FUCKING NOW.

                            • To me the biggest indictment of the richrod years has been his teams inability to recover
From mistakes. Today was a great example. His team is rolling on OSU, then Denard fumbles, then OSU scores on their next eight posessions (excluding the int in the end zone).

                              That's inexcusable.

                              • no, the biggest indictment by far is his inability to even attract a decent kicker to michigan in 3 years. If he can't do that, a decent defense will be impossible.
