  • They won't.

In case you haven't noticed, the defense really IS this shitty.

    • They need a couple first downs to quite down the crowd

      • I'm not sure which is worse; Michigan's defense or their special teams.

I mean, those goalposts could have been twice as wide and the kick still would have missed.

What the hell are you watching that game for?

Are College coaches allowed to challenge?

I think only the officials can call for a "review".

          • Am I the only one thinking this should be four down territory for the Wolverines?

I mean, their kicker's effective range is like, the 5.

            • Seems like ND made adjustments and RichRod is still trying what worked in the first half.

              • Richrod playing not to lose. ND is all over every play and the O has not adjusted at all.

                • He can't hit the long passes! Why even try on a 3rd and 3?

                    • Mr Rodriguez,

Your kicker has an effective range somewhere around extra point distance, and even that is spotty. Anything inside the 30 needs to be four down territory.

                      • I don't quite understand why we're still kicking FGs...

4th and 3 anywhere inside the 40 should be automatic go-for-it territory.

                        • I might try and get a kicking scholorshiP...apparently there just giving them away

                          • Michigan needs a long drive and ascore of any kind right here.

You mean they need to score a touchdown?

I'll give the defense credit in that they haven't completely come apart in this second half. They've given up some first downs, but outside of one pass play for a TD, they've prevented giving up those huge chunk plays that killed them last season.
