Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Not believing in the way ahead doesn't cost me anything if I find out I'm wrong, and besides, what makes you think that OSU or some other BT school (like MSU) won't have great recruiting that puts them not only equal to but better than Michigan? To me, that's more likely.
West Virginia had a laughable program at best when Rich Rod took over. In 4 years they were serious contenders for a national championship. Now you take Rich Rod and his sytem and place him at the winningest program in college football and the odds are very high that Michigan will be a serious contender for a National Title in 3 years.

Since 1975 only 2 true Freshman have started at QB, Rick Leach and Chad Henne. Today that number doubled. That's almost unheard of. It's even more significant because each was successful while on the field.
And next year they have Devin Gardner committed. Of course that can change but if it doesn't and they redshirt him, they may be set at QB for years to come.
This program is finally heading in the right direction. The last few years of Carr there was a slow decline caused by the attitude of winning the Big 10 and going to the Rose Bowl was a succesful season. Michigan is not the only Big 10 team guilty of that and it shows in the pitiful performances in bowl games the Big 10 has had in recent history. Of course the Big 10 is important but the sights will actually be higher.
Again I firmly believe Rich Rod will bring Michigan back to prominence and the other Big 10 teams better saddle up or they'll get left behind.

"Michigan will surpass Ohio State next year and will play at a level that you see Florida and Texas do. The rest of the Big 10 will have to catch up to the speed of Michigan or be left behind."
----------------------I don't know that UM will surpass OSU next year, although I would love it, but my belief when RichRob was hired was UM was breaking from the tradition of BIG10 football of power to speed and finese. When they get there they will certainly surpass OSU and the rest of the BIG10 will have to catch up.
GO LIONS "09" !!!!!!!!!GO LIONS "24" !!
